Modeling Analyst


Position Overview
Group O Marketing Solutions has an immediate need for a Modeling Analyst to join its team. Responsibilities: •Experience with internal clients to include but not limited to: taking client requests, structuring a solution, communicating timelines and managing delivery of their own modeling projects. •Capacity to design a solution to an analytical problem and the ability to manage analytical projects. •Develops statistical models, customer profiles, and analyses in support of direct marketing product promotions and customer retention programs. •Uses advanced statistical techniques in SAS in the development of predictive models used to maximize direct mail and outbound telemarketing efficiency in product acquisition and retention promotions. Requirements: •Experience 5 – 7 + years applying the following statistical techniques: logistic and linear regression, decision trees, hypothesis testing, experimental design, ANOVA, tests of association, and goodness-of-fit. •Ability to explain complex mathematical analysis in an easy-to-understand way to marketing, sales, and advertising clients. •Previous experience using SAS software and SQL. •Strong oral and written communication skills. •Experience with manipulating and processing large datasets is required. •Proven track record 5 – 7 + years experience as a modeler. Education: Master’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, MS/MBA (Quantitative Concentration), or equivalent degree.
